Free Politcally Correct Speech
The questionably elected governor of Washington state, Christine Gregoire, has really put her foot in her mouth this time. (HT: my wife, a Washington native)
Michelle Malkin and Mitch Berg at Shot in the Dark both report that the all-we-could-do-for-now governor has accused talk radio of whipping up a frenzy, that has resulted in her receiving death threats.
I get it, she steals an election and everyone is supposed to keep there mouths shut about it for the sake of public safety? Runs dangerously close to a limitation of free speech in my book.
You know, there was a time in our nation's history when it was necessary to send in federal troops to protect the rights to free speech and peaceful assembly. Gregoire keeps this kind of garbage up and one has to wonder what the future holds for Washington.
