Pollution...
OH NO! - NOT CHEMICALS
Oh yes according to the latest environmental summit last week in Dubai.
Are you getting my point here? This is yet another power grab based on an irrational fear. Sometimes I think people fear "chemicals" because they fear their high school chemistry teacher.
Are there harmful chemicals? - of course, but most are beneficial. And the fact of the matter is the thousands of chemists that are synthesizing all these new chemcials every year are doing so precisely to create benefit, not to harm.
I think I am going to call an international conference to control the spread of power grabbing bureacrats. Maybe they should be tagged and radio tracked?

Oh yes according to the latest environmental summit last week in Dubai.
Environment ministers from around the world are meeting in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates to discuss the rising use of man-made chemicals.Ok, ok, here's my favorite part
The United Nations-backed conference, the largest yet, is expected to issue a declaration on the way chemicals should be managed around the world.
According to UN figures, around 1,500 new chemicals are produced each year, adding to the 80,000 the world currently produces. It's horrible isn't it, I mean 1500 new chemicals a year - chemicasl like the drugs you take to lower you cholesterol or thin your blood and prevent the next stroke. Chemicals like a different cut of oil taken from pressed soybeans that lowers the fat in cooking. Chemicals like the plastic used on your car body to lighten it, allowed for a lower power and more fuel efficient engine.
