Another Reason to Oppose Late Term Abortion
We all know the moral arguments against abortion in general and especially against late term abortion. They are powerful. This story from the Sunday Times of London made my skin crawl. Quoting a doctor involved in the case of a baby born AFTER an abortion attempt:
That's not abortion, that's torture to the mother and the child. Dear God help us!
“Late abortion raises serious practical, ethical and professional concerns. The dilemma of being telephoned about an infant born showing signs of life following termination of pregnancy is one that many paediatricians have faced. If viable, and resuscitated, those infants who survive may suffer significant illness.�Ya think? This happens often enough that pediatricians have to worry about it?
