George Bush Has No Idea What He Is Doing
No really, none. Just like Ronald Reagan had no idea when he put the Pershing Missiles in Europe or started the "Star Wars" defense program. Clueless, totally clueless.
Bush's policy has nothing to do with this story I read this morning, or this story I read this afternoon.
Oh, and while I'm "bashing" Bush, check out this post at Powerline that favorably compares him to Winston Churchill.
OK, enough sarcasm. The state of events in Lebanon is truly exciting. On the radio Hugh Hewitt just drew a parallel to eastern Europe in the late 80's and early 90's. I was in the Soviet Union in 1991 during the failed coup attempt against Gorbachev. (totally coincidentially!) These are exciting times and terrifying times. Pray for the Lebanese, pray for peaceful revolution. Pray things will go more like eastern Europe and not like Tienamen Square.
