More Forgiveness
After I posted on forgiveness yesterday, Transforming Sermons had two more posts on the topic worth pointing out. One borrowed from James White and points out that any forgiveness we can offer is by the power of the Holy Spirit and not of ourselves.
The other post, drawing from Eternal Perspectives points out the importance of humility in forgiveness.
Amen to both posts. I think this topic worthy of a great deal of discussion. Forgiveness is so misunderstood, so misapplied, and so many awful conclusions drawn based upon those misundertandings and misapplications, that I sometimes fear to discuss it.
