Blooper Mania
SmartChristian had a very funny post on the "Church Bulletin Bloopers." It's recommended reading. It reminds of one I ran into years ago. It was a concert announcement in the local paper -- the concert to occur at the largest, wealthiest, most prestigious church in town. It read as follows:
This Wednesday, [Name Withheld For Reason Soon To Be Obvious] Church will be holding a Pubic Organ Concert In The Sanctuary. The Public Is Invited.The church was home to the mayor and several state and federal congresspersons. You should have seen the fuss! Most of us just laughed.
