This Just Honks Me Off
Apparently the Russians have magnanimously agreed to work to destroy their arsenal of chemical weapons.
Russia says it will fund on its own a program to destroy the country's chemical weapons stockpile, amid complaints that the United States has not provided sufficient help to carry out the task....They built the things - threatening the entire world - and they want us to pay them to destroy them? We are already paying to destroy our own. The border to blackmail is a fine line....
...Moscow has previously argued that it would need $5-6 billion for the liquidation of its chemical arsenal and has asked the West to provide money for seven facilities to dispose of the weapons.
