Another Pleasant Valley Sun-Link
Bigotry on display. Now, the thing I want to point out is the absolute importance of facts. This person starts with the premise that Tom and Jerry was a Disney production. It wasn't - it was an MGM production. He then calls Disney a Jewish company - Walt Disney was a Congregationalist, when he bothered. MGM was publicly traded (Disney, of course, is now, but was not in the heyday of Tom and Jerry production) and Tom and Jerry's were made by numerous directors, but most notably Hanna-Barbera who as best as I can tell had no reliious affiliation, although I think it possible they were of Jewish ancestory. In other words, the guy starts with the bigotry and builds a case for it.
In the public square, how often do we accept wrong facts and accusations about another religion, just becasue we think a religon is wrong? In a religiously plural society - facts matter. we need to be careful
Comics/Icons/Faith. All stuff I'm really interested in and this was a cool link when I saved it last night - but the links are broken at the moment. Hopefully, they will be fixed by the time you set to it.
This will undoubtly call for joint protests by PETA and the anti-death penalty crowd. Those should be interesting.
