Mine Eyes Looked To The Heavens...
...and I beheld the highest point of earth in the contiguous United States - Mt. Whitney. No matter how many times I make this drive I cannot help but be astonished at this site, not to mention that when I took this picture, I was just 100 miles from the lowest point in on the continent as well (Death Valley). Most grammar school kids know how close these two are, but I think you have to be here really appreciate it.
Isa 40:1-5 - Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.
