On The Day In History...
...May 23, 2005 saw my best friend, Ken Stanley, in an automobile accident that took his life three days later.
...May 23, 2007 saw my parents in an automobile accident that ten days later took my father's life and has left my mother in rapidly accelerated decline, robbing her of her independence.
If you know me, it may be best to stay out of the car today. (I know - not very funny, but what is one to do on a day like this?)
