I wonder if we in this world can even really conceive of such love, let alone even let the slightest glimpse of it peek through our lives?
Love is willing self-sacrifice for the good of another that does not require reciprocation or that the person being loved is deserving.Note that when you strip that down to the barest of essences - love is about the other, wholly, completely, totally - it is the antithesis of self.
