Wrong On So Many Levels
Is there any redemption for this from Out of Ur? It is a video I refuse to replicate. There are serious questions about whether it is a real outreach or a parody of what churches do. Either way, It's wrong. Seriously wrong. If real, well.... If parody then it is indicative of just how far wrong we have gone in our efforts to be "relevant."
But if parody, think about this. Such a parody says that what people expect from church is an alternative to culture. Relevancy perhaps, but not imitation. MAybe we need to learn the difference between the two.
